INQULOAsk the minds behind the ideas

Academic integrity

Use assistance without surrendering authorship.

INQULO supports inquiry, practice and source navigation. It must not be used to conceal who did the intellectual work or to bypass the rules of an assessment.

Responsible uses

  • Ask questions about material you are authorised to access.
  • Locate passages, compare concepts and identify gaps in understanding.
  • Practice explaining an idea, then verify and rewrite it in your own reasoning.
  • Develop study questions, reading plans or discussion prompts.
  • Use clearly labelled historical reconstruction to explore perspectives, never as an authentic quotation.
  • Disclose AI assistance when the relevant rules require it.

Unacceptable uses

  • Submit generated wording, analysis, code or answers as independent work when that is prohibited or undisclosed.
  • Invent, alter or cite a source you have not checked.
  • Use another person's account, evade assessment controls or obtain restricted material.
  • Upload confidential examinations, personal data or copyrighted material without authority.
  • Represent a reconstruction, suggestion or generated profile as a historical person's actual statement.
  • Use INQULO to make or automate grading, disciplinary or high-stakes judgments about a person.

Authorship means intellectual responsibility

Authorship is more than producing sentences. It includes selecting evidence, making judgments, constructing an argument, acknowledging uncertainty and accepting responsibility for the result. Editing generated text does not automatically make its reasoning your own.

Check every citation

Open the cited source, read sufficient surrounding context, confirm author, title, date and page where applicable, and ensure the passage supports the precise claim. Never cite an INQULO answer as though it were the underlying publication. See Evidence and sources.

Disclosure and acknowledgement

A useful disclosure states which tool was used, for what purpose, what material it had access to, and what checking or revision the author performed. The required form differs between courses and publications. Keep a record of prompts, relevant outputs and decisions when the work may need to be explained.

Teacher authority and proportional response

Teachers establish permitted use for their course and should communicate it before assessment. INQULO provides review and audit controls, but it does not declare misconduct. Concerns require human examination of context, applicable rules and evidence, with fair institutional process.

Privacy and research ethics

Do not place sensitive personal data, confidential research material, unpublished peer review, protected participant information or restricted institutional records into a workspace unless you are authorised and the processing is appropriate. Academic integrity includes duties to participants, collaborators and rights holders.

What INQULO does—and does not—guarantee

The platform distinguishes source excerpts, interpretation and AI reconstruction; restricts student-facing academic entities to reviewed content; and preserves inspectable citations where available. It cannot guarantee truth, originality, completeness or compliance with every institution's rules. The learner and educator remain accountable for judgment.

If something appears wrong

Do not propagate the output. Inspect the evidence, preserve the relevant record, notify the teacher where appropriate, and report a service concern through Contact. Corrections and review decisions should be visible rather than silently rewriting the scholarly record.
